Suga Brown Gallery

Every year Suga Brown works in the community to deliver exciting performing art projects for young people.

DARE (Dalton And Rawthorpe Entertainers) showcased an evening of music and dance

A big thank you from everyone from Suga Brown for the YOF funding which allowed us to run some great DJ, Music and Dance workshops for local young people. They were followed up with a brilliant showcase on Friday 20th April 2007.

As a result of the workshops several music tracks were produced, along with a song that was written with a backing track, which was performed at the event. Dance workshops were also delivered at DRAM and Deighton centres and showcased at the D.A.R.E. event.

It also aims to build confidence and self-esteem. The project has been a huge success and groups of up to 30 children work towards showcasing their work at end of term ceremonies.
